Title: 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Administrator
The Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County is seeking the contract services of a grant administrator for two FY20 21st CCLC after school and summer programs. Extensive knowledge of the 21st CCLC program is preferred with a minimum of 3 years of grant administration experience.
The Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County has been funded by the Georgia Department of Education 21st CCLC program to implement an after school and summer program for students attending (or zoned for) Mill Creek Elementary and Mattie Lively Elementary, both located in Statesboro, GA. The goals for both programs are to 1) improve academic achievement: 2) improve student behaviors and 3) increase parent engagement.
Responsibilities of the 21st CCLC Grant Administrator include: serving as the primary contact for GaDOE; ensuring all grant requirements are met; working with the site director(s) to ensure successful implementation of the program goals, objectives, and activities; facilitating the collection of evidence and preparing for annual monitoring requirements; assisting in the development of annual budgets and tracking of monthly expenses; submitting monthly financial reimbursement requests to GaDOE; approving of purchase order requests; conducting staff evaluations; maintaining of the program database; development of program documents to include handbooks and program information; serving as the evaluation manager and working closely with the external evaluator; monitoring program progress and outcomes; sharing program information with the Advisory Council and working with BGC to train 21st CCLC site coordinator and/or program staff.
The 21st CCLC Grant Administrator reports directly to the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County and is not considered an employee of the Boys & Girls Club.
Response Submission. Responses to this request must be by email only. A “return receipt” email option is advised to confirm our receipt and review of the submission. Emailed responses are to be received by email no later than October 8, 2019.
Determination of Grant Administrator: The responses will be reviewed by the CEO for the Boys & Girls Club. For the selected applicant, a notification will be sent via email and followed up with a phone call. An email will be sent to all other applicants no later than October 10th, 2019.
Method of Evaluation. The evaluation of the responses to this request will be based on its overall qualifications, competence, compliance, format, and organization, taking into consideration the following evaluation criteria:
