how you can help

Volunteering

The Clubs provide numerous opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference in a child’s life.  We will format your job with your skills and talents as well as your availability.  Some of the areas best suited for you may include: tutoring, mentoring, coaching, crafts, technology or music.  To find out more, download the Volunteer Application and contact the Boys & Girls Clubs.  We will be glad to work with you.

The volunteer application process simply begins with completing an application either online or in person.  Once the application is complete, applicants must bring their drivers licenses and social security cards so that the BGC can keep a copy of each.  Volunteer background checks are conducted on a weekly basis.  Volunteers are also required to attend a volunteer orientation session. Sessions will last approximately two hours. Once volunteers have completed volunteer orientation and passed their background check, they will receive their placement. Volunteer applicants will be notified when the results have returned, and then they will receive their placement.2007-2008

Donation
You can help our Clubs attract and capture the interest of even more local youth.
It just takes a donor like you to make a difference. Together we an make a direct impact on the lives of our kids and our community. Your dollars stay in Bulloch County and support only the boys & girls of Bulloch County.

Every donation is a token of your belief in our mission.  Our yearly fees for each child add up to about $100 a year, but the cost is over a $1000 per child annually.  Any donation you make, however large or small, helps to offset this gap.  Thank you for being involved with our Club!
