At the Clubâs Teen Center, the theme for the summer was âAdventuring into the Future.
Teens had the opportunity to participate in daily career development and abstinence programs. They also visited several college campuses, including Savannah State University, Augusta Technical College, and Armstrong Atlantic State University.
The teens ended the summer by participating in âGear Up for the Future,â a three-day program at GSU that was designed to prepare students in grades 7-12 for college life. The teens toured various departments on campus, heard speakers like GSU President Dr. Bruce Grube and spent the night in the dorms. Programming for the regular academic year will begin at the Club on Tuesday, August 7.
